OpenHydro is working with leading Canadian utility Nova Scotia Power to create a tidal demonstration project in the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Nova Scotia Power provides more than 97% of the electricity generation, transmission and distribution across the Canadian Province of Nova Scotia.

The Bay of Fundy is home to the world's largest tidal range and represents a major tidal energy resource.

Following successful completion of this installation, Nova Scotia Power plans to develop large utility scale tidal farms in the Bay of Fundy.
