OpenHydro wins industry recognition in Ireland and US (25/06/09)
Irish tidal renewable energy company OpenHydro has received the 2009 innovative company of the year award from Engineers Ireland. In addition, it has been awarded the 2009 company pioneer award at the Energy Ocean conference in Maine in the United States.
The Engineers Ireland award recognises the contribution of organisations that demonstrate innovative approaches to design, materials, or engineering-related research and development transferred into practice in a sustainable manner.
